The Sammy Fund
Named in honor of Sammy, a gentle pit-lab puppy reportedly dropped from a second-story window in downtown Okmulgee, this fund covers emergency and critical medical care for animals who arrive to us in their toughest moments—those hit, hurt, abandoned, or broken by trauma. Your support ensures their stories don’t end in suffering, but in healing.

Neuterhood Watch (TNRM)
Our Trap-Neuter-Return-Monitor program gives community cats a humane, life-saving solution—reducing overpopulation while improving the lives of outdoor cats who call Okmulgee home.

With our new OKCO Pet Adoption Center set to open in 2026--thanks to the Sam Viersen Family Foundation and a loving Okmulgee family--your continued support comes at a pivotal moment. We are profoundly grateful for this incredible step forward for our community.
