These cats and dogs are ready to trade homelessness for snuggles, snacks, and a forever home—and they’re hoping it’s yours.

When you adopt from OKCO Humane Society, you’re not just giving a pet a second chance—you’re also making room for us to rescue another animal from the Okmulgee Animal Shelter. That’s a two-for-one kind of good deed.

All of our adoptables are fully vetted and ready to go. That means spay or neuter, vaccinations, deworming, a microchip, and a heartworm test—everything they need to start their new life with you.

SASSY

Sassy is a sweet little orange tabby, about 12 weeks old, who’s still learning that the world is a pretty great place. She can be a bit timid at first, especially in new situations, but once she feels safe, her playful kitten side comes shining through. She loves romping around with her sister, chasing toys, and engaging in classic kitten mischief.

With a little patience and a gentle home, Sassy will blossom into a loving companion who enjoys playtime, cozy naps, and growing more confident every day. She’d do especially well as an indoor kitty in a home that understands shy kittens just need a bit of time to feel brave. Sassy has bonded with her sister, Tao, so they will need to be adopted together.

Sassy has been vetted, vaccinated and spayed and is ready for her new home along with her sister, Tao.

TAO

At 12 weeks old, Tao is a curious little orange tabby with a big personality packed into a tiny body. She’s super adventurous and playful, always ready to explore her surroundings, chase toys, and turn everyday objects into entertainment. When she’s done zooming around, Tao happily switches into cuddle mode — she’s incredibly sweet and loves being held, snuggled, and doted on. Tao would do well as an indoor kitty, and like most kittens, she’s learning about the world one paw at a time and will thrive in a home that’s ready for playtime, love, and lots of laughs. Tao is the perfect mix of spunky and snuggly, and she has bonded with her sister, Sassy so they will need to be adopted together.

Nacho is very calm but spunky, loves cuddles and having play time, his favorite toys are ropes and anything he can play tug of war with!

He is good with other cats and dogs, very affectionate and loves being cuddled up by his sister Nora and foster parents.
